Under the law of Moises it was made not to be used God's name in vain.
"You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless who takes His name in vain"
It seem that people these days have forgotten this Commandment...it sad me to say that I see this happening more and more everywhere, people are using God's name for their own gain and self-gratification or the most common, taking credit for others hard work!
I can see that church it's at fault, these days churches are too scare to teach God's word the way those words are written in the Bible. Churches these days care about the number of members they have, it seems like this is the new priority for them. It is not sufficient to be religious! False religion is idolatry, and the idolatry of unbelief spread like a pestilent plague throughout the land.
It is time for us to make a change, our country needs strong churches to face the challenges that are to come. Our country needs to be strong! not only physically but spiritually.
When you see someone taking advantage of God's name, do not celebrate what they do because you will be the same as they are.
Lord, I pray that you will speak to the ones that are in high position to reform the way your word has been tough in our churches. Lord, I pray that we all are going to be accountable to each other to grow strong in your word...AMEN
