The fruit of the righteous is a tree of Life, And he who wins souls is wise. (Proverbs 11:30)

In my Hardest Moments

You see, there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind,
But the LORD kept me moving…
But You, O GOD the Lord, Deal with me for Your name's sake; Because Your mercy [is] good, deliver me. (Psalm 109-21)

At times, I've wanted to lash out at those, whom I felt had done me wrong,
But the LORD your God you shall fear…
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. (Mat 5:44)

At times, I have been worried about my future,
God my Lord reassures me…
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? (Mat 6:25)

When I feel powerless in this world,
God tells me…
And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; And they will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you; For I [am] with you to save you And deliver you," says the LORD. (Jer 15:20)

When I thought I would fall,
My God keeps me up…
For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword; but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you have put your trust in Me," says the LORD.' "(Jer 39:18)

At times fear takes over me,
But I’m not alone…
For I, the LORD your God will hold your right hand, Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.' (Isaiah 41:13)

There are times when I don’t know what to say,
God gives me the words…
Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. (Jer 1:9)

When I thought I was weak,
He keeps me strong…
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2Cr 12:9)

At times I feel empty,
But the Lord fills me up…
For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

And I can go on and on…but I know that the love of God for us is infinite,
Every time our human emotions take over, we always can count with God’s word.
God’s word is better that any anti-depressant the doctor can prescribe…Only IF you have enough Faith in God's Word ♥ ♥

Habakkuk Sings to God ♥ ♫

  The book of Habakkuk is that it is permissible to question what God is doing, although with respect and reverence. Sometimes it is not evident to us what is going on, especially if we are thrown into suffering for a period of time or if it seems our enemies are prospering while we are just barely getting by. The Book of Habakkuk, however, affirms that God is a sovereign, omnipotent God who has all things under control. We just need to be still and know He is at work. He is who He says He is and does keep His promises. He will punish the wicked. Even when we cannot see it, He is still on the throne of the universe.

In Chapter 3 Habakkuk Praise God, he sings Praises to the Lord. Habakkak understands that his God is the "All Mighty God" the God who answers our questions in His own time.

Habakkuk 3:1-19
A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet, on Shigionoth.[a]
    2 O LORD, I have heard Your speech
and was afraid;
      O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years!
      In the midst of the years make
it known;
      In wrath remember mercy.
    3 God came from Teman,
      The Holy One from Mount Paran.  Selah

      His glory covered the heavens,
      And the earth was full of His praise.
   4
His brightness was like the light;
      He had rays
flashing from His hand,
      And there His power
was hidden.
    5 Before Him went pestilence,
      And fever followed at His feet.
   6 He stood and measured the earth;
      He looked and startled the nations.
      And the everlasting mountains were scattered,
      The perpetual hills bowed.
      His ways
are everlasting.
    7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction;
      The curtains of the land of Midian trembled.
   8 O LORD, were
You displeased with the rivers,

Was Your anger against the rivers,

Was Your wrath against the sea,
      That You rode on Your horses,
      Your chariots of salvation?
   9 Your bow was made quite ready;
      Oaths were sworn over
Your arrows.[b]  Selah

      You divided the earth with rivers.
  10 The mountains saw You
and trembled;
      The overflowing of the water passed by.
      The deep uttered its voice,

And lifted its hands on high.
  11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation;
      At the light of Your arrows they went,
      At the shining of Your glittering spear.
  12 You marched through the land in indignation;
      You trampled the nations in anger.
  13 You went forth for the salvation of Your people,
      For salvation with Your Anointed.
      You struck the head from the house of the wicked,
      By laying bare from foundation to neck.  Selah
  14 You thrust through with his own arrows
      The head of his villages.
      They came out like a whirlwind to scatter me;
      Their rejoicing was like feasting on the poor in secret.
  15 You walked through the sea with Your horses,
      Through the heap of great waters.
 16 When I heard, my body trembled;
      My lips quivered at
the voice;
      Rottenness entered my bones;
      And I trembled in myself,
      That I might rest in the day of trouble.
      When he comes up to the people,
      He will invade them with his troops.

A Hymn of Faith
  17 Though the fig tree may not blossom,
      Nor fruit be on the vines;
      Though the labor of the olive may fail,
      And the fields yield no food;
      Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
      And there be no herd in the stalls—
  18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
      I will joy in the God of my salvation.
 19 The LORD God [c] is my strength;
      He will make my feet like deer’s
feet,
      And He will make me walk on my high hills.
   To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.

The book of Habakkuk

I just finish reading the book of Habakkuk in the old testament, this is one of the shortest book in the Bible.
This book tough me that I'm not alone when it comes to question God, some times it's hard for me to comprehend the evil of man. Man are capable of doing the most horrific things to one another.

I'm a big fan of reading about WWII and the Jewish Holocaust. I like to read mainly about personal survival stories, not 'til I started to read these stories, I realize how much wickedness exist in the heart of man.
What the Nazis did to 12,000,000 people in Europe, make me ask God "why"

Habakkuk 1:2
O LORD, how long shall I cry, And You will not hear? Even cry out to You, "Violence!" And You will not save.

This is how Habakkuk starts questioning God...

Most people in this world question God about the injustice that exist all around us.
Many of us feel like things are not always fair, this discontent can come from many different areas in our lives, a good example will be at work, imagine if you are a good Christian and you have been working hard and you have been waiting for this promotion, but at the end somebody else gets it, somebody who clearly doesn't deserves it.
The first thing that will come out your mouth will be "why God" it's not fair!!

God doesn't wants us to despair, He wants us to have Faith. Faith is what makes things happen in our lives, without Faith our hopes are dead.Remember that God's time it's not our time, God always has a plan, they might seam unfair to us, but we don't know the out-coming only God knows, we need to have Faith and patience.

Habakkuk 1:5
"Look among the nations and watch-- Be utterly astounded! For [I will] work a work in your days [Which] you would not believe, though it were told [you].

Here God is telling Habakkuk, that he will see His work, God is already dealing with the issue, it doesn't matter how long God will let it go, but the point is that nothing will go unpunished, we might not see His punishment but the evil one for certain will get what they deserve.
History shows us that the evil one always looses one way or another, a good example will be the Nazis and their fall.

Our God is all mighty, He doesn't have to answer our questions, but He does in time. Many times we can't understand God's ways, but if we put our Faith in Him, He will reveal many things to us and many we will never see the answer in this world but I assure you that God will take care of it.

HAVE FAITH AND PATIENCE

Keep spreading Jesus Word!!!

My heart is trouble by the increasing number of people leaving the Christian blogs.
I want to make an awareness to anybody who is contemplating the though of giving up their Christian Blogs. As we give up many will be deprive of know who Jesus is and what was the point of Him coming to this world.
Please don't do it!! think of how many people benefit by reading God's word. Even better, imagine if someone out there get to know Jesus by reading your blog, that will be the biggest blessing for you.

What I like of my blog is that some times I get comments from someone in a country on the other side of the world. That's one of the biggest rewards I get for having my blog active.
Spreading the word of God should be our number one priority, as Christians we need to be more diligent on teaching God's words to the four corners of the world.

Not all of us can go to far away lands to teach God's word, but most of us have blogs now, so lets put them in use for something good.
Christians can't be quiet and keep God's word captive...we have the obligation to teach others, the same way someone took the time to teach us about our salvation.

Matthew 28:19
Go therefore [fn] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Matthew 28:29
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen.

Mark 8:38
For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."

Mark 16:15
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:20
And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with [them] and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

Thank You God for who You are!!!

Today was a good day! I went to a job interview, I was very nervous because the last interview I'd have was 4 years ago. It's not easy to remember the protocols, when you are already very nervous and on top of that you have to give the perfect answers and at the same time you have to be very professional (I' not very good at neither).
I'm a simple person, who has a simple vocabulary. Some times I ask my self; how can I impress an employer when there is a long line of good candidates with more qualifications than me?

Through out the years I had learned that when I put God first nothing is against me! one more time God had showed me that Praying and trusting Him it's all I need.
Jeremiah 31:25
"For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul."

So today I prayed that God will let the words flow out my mouth and that He will guide me to the end.
Well guess what...My God was there with me, the interview went very well, the interviewer was very pleased with my experience and with everything I told him. He asked me if I can come back next week for a second interview, he wants me to meet the managers of the company.
This doesn't mean I got the job, I won't know 'til after the second interview. I'm leaving everything to God. He knows what's best for me.

What I'm trying to teach here is that we don't have to feel alone, afraid, worry, depress, desperate, anxious,   concerns, even worse we try to carry the heaviness of this world. God tell us...
Matthew 11:28
Come to Me, all [you] who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Where the years have gone?

Today I was playing with my daughter. I notice how much she has grown, and how independent she has become.
She is the youngest of 3 children. My older child is 24, middle child 15, and my last 12. I remember that not too long ago they were home watching "Barney and Friends" in PBS.
Now one is married, the other one is in High School, and my baby girl is in Middle School.

In two more days I'll be 49 years old...I'm a wiser person now. When I see my self in the mirror, I see an old woman, who still young in the heart.
Some times I feel like I haven't accomplished anything in this life...Some times I feel that, bringing 3 beautiful children to this world was my biggest accomplishment.
This sounds confusing! and that's how I feel some times...the only thing I can do is Pray.

"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference."

God is telling me that my biggest accomplishment so far it has been "giving my life to Jesus" my Savior, my redeemer.
I know that I haven't accumulated much in this hearth, but the only thing that I'm sure of, it's that I'd accumulate riches in Heaven, and these riches nobody can snatch from me.

God is always there to help me when I feel down. God has promised me that everything will be ok.
I don't have to worry about me getting older or my children growing up.
God has explained to me that this is just the circle of life and we are to live it before we come to Him.

If any one is going through hard times trying to understand why we have to go through these things, don't think it twice...come to Jesus, ask Him anything your heart desires to know, that He will reveal them and He will give you the acceptance of the things that you can't change.

ALWAYS GIVE THANK TO THE LORD.
