The fruit of the righteous is a tree of Life, And he who wins souls is wise. (Proverbs 11:30)

2 Peter 2:20
For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
2 Peter 2:21
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known [it], to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
2 Peter 2:22
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit," [fn] and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire."

Ooh!!!! these are very harsh words from Peter to all of us, but very true...We Christian believed that as soon as we say the "Prayer of salvation" we are in God's side and we can go on living the same way before we came to Christ.
We don't understand that coming to Jesus was only the beginning...after coming to Jesus we need to get to know Him...How do we do that? By reading His word every day (Bible) and changing your heart, humbling your self and putting away the old you.
"For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness" If we know the truth about Jesus and we ignore His Commandments is like saying "I know you but I don't care about you", "thanks but no thanks" I don't want to know what God will do about people like that. The day of judgment is at hand and we don't want to be left behind and cast to the lake of fire. You want to believed it or not, hell is as real as Heaven.

The End is Near

I'm reading the book of "2 Peter" here we can learn some of the teaching of Peter before he was kill, he wants us to be aware of the end of times, he wants us to know how God will destroy the sinners. God wants His people (us) to be vigilant for Jesus coming. I will encourage everyone to read this book, just to have an idea of how God wants us to live our lives. He wants us to know of what's going on in this world, it had been already written in the Bible. This way we can prepare our selves.
For the ones that don't know Jesus, they are welcome into His life at any time and as you are, there is not a lie in Jesus mighty name, as you learn more about Him, you will be more prepare for the end of times, you will understand "the global warming" "wars" "natural disasters" I assure you that you won't wonder anymore, you will know for sure why these things are happening.

2Peter 2:1-10

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.
By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does [fn] not slumber.
For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast [them] down to hell and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, [one of] eight [people], a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;
and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned [them] to destruction, making [them] an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;
and delivered righteous Lot, [who was] oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked
for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented [his] righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing [their] lawless deeds)--
[then] the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. [They are] presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,

2Peter 2:22
For when they speak great swelling [words] of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped [fn] from those who live in error.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.
For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known [it], to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit," [fn] and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.

THESE ARE ONLY A FEW VERSES OF CHAPTER 2.

What God tells us about "Patience"

My daily routine had changed in the last month, I have my nephew living with us, he needs our help for now, he is in between decisions about his future. I'm glad I have a blood relative living with us.
I know how important it is to help one another. I know my heart is in the right place and that is why I'm glad I can help people, the most important reason is that this is what Jesus had commanded us to do. For every step I take to help others, I need to be "Patient" things might not go the way I want to... this is where my mistake is... I want to see the results as soon as possible, I forget that it is God's timing and not mine. I'm just a tool that God is using to do His will in others.
If you are going to help others be "Patient" don't be anxious for the results you want to see, those results might not be what you want them to be, they might be "God's results".
Do not help others for your own gain and don't do it for recognition or for attention, that will not please God!! We need to help others with a humble heart.

Romans 15:4
For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

Romans 15:5
Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus

James 1:4
But let patience have [its] perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

I had decided to post my Day by Day Grace "Blue Bible"
because I like everyone to learn about Faith, some times we are so consume by the lies of this world, that there is not room for faith, but we need to have the spirit of discernment to block the enemy lies and trust God's promises.

Responding Properly to God's Promises
By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. (Hebrews 11:11
)

Before we proceed in our consideration of God's promises, let's look at some examples of those who responded properly to His promises.. This will assist us in the path of living daily by the grace of God. Remember, living by God's grace and depending upon His promises are two perspectives concerning the same reality. Both speak of God working in and through the lives of His people.

Sarah responded properly to God's promises.. It is true that she tried to fulfill God's promise of a son by her own ingenuity. "So Sarai said to Abram, 'See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her'" (Genesis 16:2

). It is true that she later laughed with incredulity, when the promise was repeated. "And He said, 'I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.' And Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him…Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, 'After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also'?" (Genesis 18:10
, 12
). Nevertheless, she eventually responded properly to what God had promised to do. "By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed." The proper response to God's promises is to believe them. All who trust in the Lord to do what He has promised will experience God at work in their lives. Sarah trusted God's promise of a son, and God enabled her to conceive and birth that son. "By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age."

Isaac was born in spite of the fact that Sarah did not have the natural biological capacity to conceive anymore. Isaac was born by means of Sarah's exercising faith in the promises of God. Note, however, that Sarah's faith was not merely some act of the human will (like "mind over matter" or "power of positive thinking"). Her faith was based upon the faithfulness of God. "She judged Him faithful who had promised." She considered what God had revealed to her about Himself and concluded that He was reliable, so she relied upon Him.
