Japan
My prayers go out to the people of Japan.
A day after the strongest earthquake (8.9 magnitude) ever recorded in Japan struck the northeast coast, unleashing a 23-foot tsunami that swept hundreds to their deaths and washed away buildings, rescuers fanned out Saturday to search for survivors and victims.
Father please comfort the people affected by this terrible earthquake and tsunami, bring all the countries together in love, in prayer and help them to care for each other.
May God comfort those who are missing love ones, and the ones who had departed let them rejoice in your presences Lord.
Psalm 34:18
The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
In Jesus mighty name...Amen!

The damage and destruction from the earthquake and tsunami in Japan looks massive! I hope the United States and other countries make substantial contributions to the relief efforts there.
