The fruit of the righteous is a tree of Life, And he who wins souls is wise. (Proverbs 11:30)

What can we say about Halloween?
Halloween is a pagan holiday promoting Satanism, idolatry, witchcraft, sorcery, necromancy, and the occult. None of these things should exist in the life of a Christian! They are spiritually dangerous, and should be avoided at all costs. What does the Bible have to say about the idea of Halloween, and the activities often associated with this pagan festival? I refer you to Deuteronomy 18:9-13:
Deuteronomy 18:9-13 - "When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations (idolatry) of those nations (pagans). There shall NOT be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer (those who talk with the spirits of the dead). For ALL that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be upright with the LORD thy God."
Final note: Did you know that October 31st is considered by Satanists to be one of their most important days of the year? It’s true!
So please don't give glory to the Devil by actively participating in this pagan festival. Give Glory to God Alone through Jesus Christ!
What makes a Christian celebrate Halloween like any other holiday?
Personally I know some Christians that are comfortable participating in these kind of events.
I know that it is not easy to get rid of traditions and customs, but when the Word of God is in us...there will not be room for traditions like this one.
Father give us the gift of the Holy Spirit to reveal to us the things we don't understand. AMEN

It's never too late!
I just want to share some of the good works God is doing in my family....
I finilly got to talk to my brother last week. I haven't heard from him in such a long time, the only news I hear from him are trough my mom.
All of the sudden I had this desire of emailing him and finally I did and for my surprise he email me back right away saying that he wanted to talk to me on the phone and I answer back saying that I would like to do that.
Mean while I started thinking of how to start the conversation about God (he is not Christian, yet!!) and I wasn't sure of what he thought of God and Jesus. Sometimes it is easier to talk about God to an unbeliever than talk about Jesus, sometimes unbelievers tent to get offense when it comes to Jesus. So I pray that God will give me the right words to say without scaring him. My goal is to bring him to God, not to scare him away and because I know my brother and I know what he had been trough, I have to be slow and loving.
About my brother...He is a very nice guy, we were born in El Salvador, this is a country were men grow up thinking that they can do what ever they want because they are "machos", that is way my brother do the things he does, he's over 50 yrs. old and still thinking the wrong way, he use to drink a lot, party all the time, dating many women at the same time, having children here and there, and I can say that the worse of all, is that he couldn't deal with our younger brother's death.
Well, he still doing some of these things in a lower scale, his health is not the best these days.
I'm happy to say that our conversation went fine, because we talked about everything and then he brought up God's name into our conversation...that's all I was waiting for, and then I jumped in, I took over and I told him some of the benefits of having God in our lives and how God listens to our prayers through Jesus.
I'm very happy and exited to say, that my brother had an open heart and mind about everything I was telling him...he told me that he had seen God's hand in his life, for quite some time already. I know that he wants to know more about Jesus and I'm helping him to have the tools he needs to start with.
I believe that as longer we are alive there is hope for us to come to know Jesus, and this is my hope, that my brother will get to know Him one day...Please pray for him that he might start a relation ship with Jesus before is to late.

The Lord has spoken to me!
Ephesians 1:2
1Peter 5:8
Proverbs 13:24
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
How do you know when the Lord speaks to you?
We need to be very careful, when we believe God had spoken to us.
God doesn't come to you unless you aloud Him.
I have known many Christians that have taken drastic decisions in their lives, believing that God had tell them to do something, that most of the time they've already decided to do anyways, they just need to convince themselves that if it is from God it might be OK to do it, just to find themselves in trouble.
When we take action on these things, the results might be the destruction of ourselves or the destruction of others.
That is way we need to stay in the word of God and walk with God all the days of our lives, that way when Satan comes with his lies, we won't be an easy target for him.
1Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because [fn] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
-I believe that God will never tell a wife/husband to go get and divorce the spouse, unless there is a life threat, proven infidelity, verbal or physical abuse, drugs or alcohol abuse. (these are some of the good reasons for divorce)
-I believe that God will never tell someone to pray for somebody's else misfortune. (I'd heard of people doing this)
-I believe that God will never say go here, go there without a plan. (people go around the world looking for that place they believe God had spoken of.)
-I believe that God will never tell a parent...go leave your wife/husband and children to marry "your soul mate" believing that that's the real wife/husband God has for you.
-I believe that God will never tell us not to punish our children, when the Bible tell us very clear to do it.
Proverbs 13:24
He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.
Proverbs 19:18Chasten your son while there is hope, And do not set your heart on his destruction.
Proverbs 22:15Foolishness [is] bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him.
There are many more... There are many things, that can deceive us when we are not walking with the Lord, we might not do it out of evilness, but we might do it out of ignorance, missing the point of God in our lives.
God will never tempts us, God has given us grace instead, and He loves us so much, that He gave His only son to be kill for our sins.
Stay in the Word of God and you will have the gift of the Holy Spirit to help you to interpret your dreams and to interpret when God speaks into your ears and into your hearts.

The Truth
Hello everybody,
2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
I'm a fan of Paul Washer and Bill Wiesel, they both teach God's word with out sugar coating the truth, they believe God's word is the same today as it was in the beginning and they both talk about hell, the reality of hell!!!!
Well, me too. I believe that we Christians need to take God's word to heart, play time is over!! or you are on God's side or you are on Satan's side, there is not a gray area.
People that don't believe in hell, they've been condemned to it already. Jesus spoke of hell many, many times.
So if someone said "hell doesn't exist" he/she is actually making Jesus a lair.
Another issue is that Christians are taking Christianity too casual, they think that after they have said the "sinners prayers" they have a free pass to Heaven, but they don't realized that the "sinners prayers" is just the beginning of the narrow walk to Jesus.
Matthew 7:14
Because narrow [is] the gate and difficult [is] the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Here Matthew is talking about us Christians, 'There are a few who find it' that means that the little prayer we said wasn't enough, the way is difficult and narrow. Many Christians are so use to getting off the narrow way that eventually they become convince that that is just part of been a Christian. OH!!! how wrong they are...God knows your hypocrite heart, God already knows your game (sin today because it feels good and repent tomorrow)
The only one we are fooling is our selves, nobody can fool God.
So...examine your selves, look at your selves on a mirror, ask your selves, how long do you think you can keep playing this game? and hope that while you're playing your little game you will not die, in the middle of it. That will be disastrous, your soul will be condemned to hell for eternity.
James 4:7
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [you] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [you] double-minded.GO AND DO THE RIGHT THING. HONOR THE ONE WHO GAVE HIS OWN LIFE FOR YOUR FILTHY GAMES (SIN)

The Battle
The Battle
My mind is a raging fire, I'm convicted in my heartI long to be a Christian Lord, but know not where to start
I hear my Savior knocking, He's standing at the door
And all the earthly worldly things aren't important anymore!
I make the great decision, I fall down on my knees
And ask my Lord to save me, enter my heart I plead
And I know that at that moment, my sin is cast away
I'm now a newborn child, a tender Christian babe!
The news spreads fast, and soon I learn, the enemy has heard
His plan is to attack, before I know the Word
For with the Word I have in me the Holy Spirit's power
He knows he must attack at once, he cannot wait an hour!
He gathers together all his demons and sets his battle plans
He must destroy this new child's faith, it must blow as drifting sands
The planning takes just minutes, they empty all the files
And then his army moves, armed with many trials!
The attack is fast and furious, and for a while I stumble
But in the end, I am quite sure, it is Satan who will bumble
I'm hit with many problems, they're coming by the score
And as my faith begins to slip, I fall down to the floor!
Satan now is laughing, he jumps around in glee
And then the smile fades from his face, as I struggle to one knee
He stares unto the battlefield, his face is filled with terror
With all the files they had on me, could he have made an error?
I'm beaten, battered, on one knee, as my lips begin to move
Satan is screaming at the top of his lungs, "What's he trying to prove?"
He sends out queries to the demons, "What is that he's saying?"
The answer comes like a shot in the night, "Oh Lucifer, he's praying!"
My strength ebbs back, and as I struggle, I gain the other knee
And when the demons see this, they turn from me and flee
Satan screams, "Stand and fight, he's only just a man!"
The answer comes loud and clear, "A man in the Savior's hand!"
The battle now is over, my faith as strong as steel
And in my heart, I know full well, the Lord Jesus is for real
For as I lay on the ground that day, something gently lifted me
Without that gentle lifting, I'd never have gained my knees!
The moral of this poem, is really very clear
Just call on the name of Jesus, when you're facing fear
For when you call on Jesus, Satan hasn't got a chance
The power that he thinks he has is fictional romance!
Jay L. Zumbrum
When things don't look right and you are fighting against all odds, don't be discourage, Trust in the Lord, because the Battle belongs to the Lord and you will have the Victory over satan.

Are you a doer of the word?
Are you a doer of the word? or just a hearer?
Luke 6 :48
He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. [fn]
Luke 6:46
"But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say?Luke 6:47
Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:Luke 6 :48
He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. [fn]
Luke 6:49
But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. [fn] And the ruin of that house was great."When you are a new born again, you become a new person. The old you have passed away and all things had become new. Now that you are new, God dwells in you.
When you were save you became a child of God and the laws were giving to you.
Your priority now, is to read the word of God and follow His Commandments.
When God is in you, you will shine and everything around you will prosper (not an a worldly way, but in God's way)
Been a doer means that you will live a Godly life...how do you do that?
By living the word of God, lets see what God said to Joshua when he took over the leadership of Israel after Moises die...
Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.God will bless you aboundingly, when you follow His Commandments.
We are living in a sinner world, that everything that is wrong in God's eyes is right in the world's eyes. This is the reason why God wants us to be a doer of His word, because His word has power and is a shield that save us from the enemy's lies...most of us Christians fall short of God's grace, simply because the foundations of our house are not built on the rock but in soft ground.
I don't like when Christians give this lame excuse "I'm only human" this is not a good excuse if you are a new born Christian. As we sin daily, we need to take responsibility of our actions, this is the only way we can get free of the chains of slavery that hold us against our Lord and Savior.
If we try to live the same way Jesus lived His life, we'll know for sure that God is please with us and no matter how strong the winds are, our houses won't come down.
