Rapture Day 5/21 !?!?!?
And God was the word and the word was God (John 1:1). He does what He says He will do. God never changes His mind. God's word is a writing stone. His word never changes because He IS the word.
The Bible is God's word and who ever believes what's written in the Bible is believing in Him. God used the men of the Bible to write His word and who ever changes his word will perish.
Now, if we read the Bible (God's word) we will know that the Bible tells us very specifically that there are things to come, signs that we'll see, and then we would know that time is at hand. God tells us that not even His son (Jesus ) knows the day or the hour of His coming, only the Father! (Mark 13:32)
If Jesus doesn't know when He will come to get us, why would a human being know the day and the hour for the rapture?.…this is just being silly! and why would God give his word to this one guy when His own son doesn't even know!
We all know that the rapture is around the corner, many signs have been given to us already, but we still don't know the day or the hour (Romans 13:11-12)!
The Bible tells us to be prepared, to be ready, and to be watchful like a wife when she waits for her husband (Mark 13:35-37). Whether we like it or not, there are laws and rules that God has given to us to follow in order be close to Him and He won't depart from us:
-10 Commandments (Exodus 20:2-17)
-We need to walk with the Lord (John 8:12)
-Stay in the narrow path that leads to the narrow gate (Matthew 7:14)
-Do not put your selves in sinful situations (1 Corinthians 15:33-34)
-Do not give your selves to this world (Romans 12:2)
-Do not lean on your own understanding (that never works) (Proverbs 3:5-7)
-Do not give up, Jesus is always with you (Matthew 28:18-20)
-Most of all believe and trust the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 13:13-14)

Who are we?
Who are you? And you? And you? We are Christian girls and women who play our roles in today's world as wives, daughters, mothers, grandmothers&emdash;in work or in the professional world, in the church, in school, at play and in all areas of society.
Whoever we are and wherever we are, let us remember that we must not hide our light under a bushel. All of our words and all of our actions must tell people that we are followers of Christ. We must be kind, helpful, unselfish, considerate, compassionate and loving to others in our walk of faith.

today we pray for mothers--
our own mothers, and mothers everywhere,
who have made such a major contribution
to the good qualities we have,
sometimes through genetics,
more often through great effort and patient instruction,
and who have done their best
to gently polish away our rough edges.
Lord, please bless our mothers
for the endless hours of time they spent
and the boundless energy they invested in us.
Bless our mothers for their sacrifices on our behalf
as they often gave up or deferred their own dreams
so that we could have ours.
Bless our mothers for always being there for us,
for being the person we know we can turn to
when we need comfort, encouragement, or just a hug.
Bless our mothers for making a home for us
where we could feel safe, where we felt we belonged.
Most of all, Lord,
bless our mothers for their unconditional love,
for loving us no matter what,
and for frequently showing love
in ways that make us feel valued and cherished.
Lord, please bless our mothers mightily.
Strengthen them, soothe them,
wrap them in Your infinite love
and shower them with blessings
too numerous to count, too magnificent to describe.
We love them, admire them, respect them,
and we wish that You would give them back
many times the good they gave to us.
In Jesus' name we pray; Amen.

JESUS IS ALIVE!!!!!
What looked like a shameful death for Jesus was actually a glorious triumph for God’s plan, because it is through the cross that Jesus won victory over enemy powers, including Satan, sin and death. Their claim on us has been fully satisfied in the death of the innocent victim. They cannot demand any more than what he has already paid. They have nothing further to threaten us with.
“By his death,” we are told, Jesus was able to “destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil” (Hebrews 2:14). “The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work” (1 John 3:8). Victory was won on the cross.

BORN TO DIE
Jesus said, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). He came to give his life, to die, and his death would result in salvation for others. This was the reason he came to earth. His blood was poured out for others (Matthew 26:28).
Jesus warned his disciples that he would suffer and die, but they did not seem to believe it. “Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. ‘Never, Lord!’ he said. ‘This shall never happen to you!’” (Matthew 16:21-22).
Jesus knew that he must die, because the Scriptures said so. “Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected?” (Mark 9:12; 9:31; 10:33-34). “Beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself…. ‘This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day’” (Luke 24:26-27, 46).
It all happened according to God’s plan: Herod and Pilate did only what God “had decided beforehand should happen” (Acts 4:28). In the Garden of Gethsemane, as Jesus knew that he would soon be crucified, Jesus asked his Father if there might be some other way, but there was none (Luke 22:42). His death was necessary for our salvation.
It was written in the Old Testament, Jesus had said. Where was it written? Isaiah 53 is one of the prophecies. Jesus quoted Isaiah 53:12 when he said: “It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment” (Luke 22:37). Jesus, although without sin, was to be counted among sinners. Notice what else is written in Isaiah 53:
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.For the transgression of my people he was stricken.... Though he had done no violence ... it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer ... the Lord makes his life a guilt offering.... He will bear their iniquities.... He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors (Isaiah 53:4-12).
Christianity is not a list of things to do—it is accepting that Christ has done everything we need to be right with God—and he did it on the cross. “When we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son” (Romans 5:10). God reconciled the universe through Christ, “making peace through his blood, shed on the cross” (Colossians 1:20). He did this before we believed it, before we were even born. And since we are reconciled through him, all our sins are forgiven (verse 22)—reconciliation, forgiveness and justification all mean the same thing: peace with God.
