HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New 2013!!!

For those who believed that the world was ending in Dec 21, 2012 let me tell you...When you hear someone proclaiming that he/she knows the end of times, Do Not believe it!!! for no one knows the day or the hour!
How many times people come up with dates for the end of the world just to be humiliated when it doesn't happend? Many times, I will say!

There is a new resolution for this new year that you should try if you are interested in knowing about the end of time....You should read the Bible!
The Bible has the answers to all these questions!
There are visions in the Bible of things that already have taken place in the world, but many visions are still to come!
Be aware with those who want to play God.
God is the only one who knows what tomorrow will bring!

Lonely Mom

My Feelings today...

Since my older son left for England I'm not in the mood for anything, I know that this is just temporary, every time he visits me we have a great time but when the time comes for him to leave a cloud of sadness falls on me.

I understand that this is the life of a military person but for a mom like me is an up and down feeling.

I miss my son way too much! I pray for him almost every day (my Jesus is very patient with me :) 

Now my seventeen year old told me that he wants to join the Marines wich had upset me very much because I don't want to lose another child, I understand that my family is a Military family but I'm still a MOM!

I don't understand how some women (moms if we can call them that) choose to live their lives apart from their children only because they believe they deserve better (I call it...Selfishness)! while their little ones are either living with dad or grandparents. There are some other parents who can't wait for their children to move out! I don't understand this one either!

I have to work in some of these feelings, I still have two teens at home who want to spend time with the  happy mom they're used to. I need to get ready for Christmas "my favorite" season of the year :)

Thank God for Skype! I'll be communicating with my older son more often now.

Thank you Lord for my three precious ones!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of their lives! 

I wouldn't changed a minute of the good and bad times I had with them.
I pray that I will have them closed enough to visit them or help them in time of need.

Thank you Jesus!!!

Good Times

My son's visit was great! I'm so proud he is in the Air Force but at the same time makes me very sad seeing him going to far away countries.

Thank you Lord for giving me another chance to enjoy my older son! You are so good to me, always giving me the desires of my heart!

I pray that you will protect, bless and watch over my son everyday of his life.

R.I.P NEIL ARMSTRONG

Neil Armstrong, the U.S. astronaut who made "This is one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind" he became the first man to walk on the moon, has died. He was 82.
"I'm heartbroken to share the news that Neil Armstrong has passed away following complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures"  
He is with the Lord the Creator of everything!

It's a wonderful life...
I'm so happy with my life right now, the good Lord has blessed me with so much, I'm so grateful to God for my family and the way He takes care of my children! I give all honor and praises to my King.

4 OF JULY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day, July 4th has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution (1775-83). Take a moment to remember the men and women who have given their lives for the protection of America, the only country in the whole world who welcome people from all walks of life.

WWI (lasted from July 28, 1914 to November 11, 1918)

WWII (lasted from 1 September 1939, when Germany invaded Poland. It ended on 2 September 1945)

Korea War (started 25 June 1950 it ended 27 July 1953)

 

Vietnam War (started in 1954 and ended in 1975)

 

Gulf War (started 2 August 1990 it ended 28 February 1991)

 

Middle East War (started in 9 September 2001 still going)

Some more changes

My meals fish/chicken and veggies 

Here I am again! wondering when my health will go back to the way it was 10 years ago. I guess it is down hill from here! unless I do what my doctor prescribes.
The last time I went to see my doctor (March 26) she said that I'm 20 lbs. over weight, so...she recommended to stop eating carbohydrates, which I have never done it before and the worse is that I'm not a "diet" person. I'm not a very organize person who can't keep track of a nutritional chart.
I know that with God's help, everything is possible! so I'm a little bit exited to see how many pounds I will loose per week.

I have a  praise report....I have been praying....asking God to control my blood pressure because I didn't want my doctor to prescribe any medication for my heart. She check my blood pressure and for my surprise she told me that it was normal, and this is after different doctors telling me that it was high. The doctor said that with a healthy diet and exercise my blood pressure will stay normal.
My painful biopsy came back normal and there is no more to worry about for now.
This were the two things I kept praying about it, and my sweet God listened to my cried.
  
Thanks for reading and Please pray for my health and will power to do what's right for my body.

Lord I pray that You will give me the strength that I need to go through this time in my life. Lord You have giving me a short body but very healthy. I thank You for always looking after me, even when I ate those Mexican clams at the side of the road. You are my Yahweh, who loves me and You will never  give me more than I can handle.  Thanks for been my God, in Jesus mighty name AMEN!!!

Getting Old

Sometimes I get so sad when I feel my body changing as the days go by. I'm in my fifties now, my body is changing, the visits to the doctor are getting more and more often, my doctor is recommending more parts of my body to be tested "just to make sure" she says.
Three weeks ago I went for a biopsy at Kaiser, that didn't go well...Kaiser likes to give this tasks to inexperience nurses or doctor's assistants, this person hurt me so much and didn't get the test done, she blamed me for not finishing the test. I was sweating, nauseating, about to faint and the pain was unbearable, this person didn't even care.
I felt compel to report this to the hospital, so, two days later I called the hospital and put a formal complain, I didn't do it for me, but mainly for this nurse, if she has chosen this field as a career, she needs to have compassion for patients, we (patients) are already stress for all the things that are going on with our health, we don't need to add more stress and physical pain to that.

The hospital scheduled me for another biopsy but this time with a real doctor. Today's experience was the opposite of the previous one. The doctor took the time to go through the details and talked to me like I was her friend just to make me relax a little, she knew that I didn't want to be there and that I was nervous.
This time it was the normal pain, but less horrible.

I thank God for blessing me with good health since I was born, even though I was born into a very poor family, my health was always good. I think that that's the reason why I'm so miserable when the doctors tell me that I need to have all these tests done. I just have to get used to the idea that is just going to get worse before it gets better, our bodies are like cars, everything starts falling apart after five years, the difference for humans is after fifty.

Thank you Lord for my life, thank you for showing me that even though my natural body is failing, You keep my spirit young, active and full of eternal life.
Thank You for loving me so much that when I ask You to be with me while I'm going through these  tests, You always respond and You let me know that You are there with me and that everything is going to be ok, in Jesus mighty name, Amen!
